Not a complaint only The Mezbaan Restaurant concept, I did not like I prefer sea food restaurant, when you come to Cape Town sea food is interesting.

Sadly the night was a great disappointment. Besides waiting an hour before going to find a wine list ourselves as nobody served us with one we were about an hour into our meal when a rather inconsiderate man decided to smoke his cigar (s) in the area to the left of the bar as you aproach from the entrance. One poor lady had to go to the bathroom as she could not enjoy her meal. The man was apparently "difficult" and we left there before 20:30. Even an international visitor (Richard, who resides in Shanghai) went to sit in the lobby with his wife due to all this. The Hilton should be ashamed of this level of service and my wife and I have been doing the "Hotel Dinner" thing for a while....and a couple of hotels with lower "star" ratings made your establishment look really really bad with regards to service, flies on the food on the bottom level where salads, soup, bread etc was and not being able to handle a smoker situation which would also make him (or the hotel) liable to get a hefty fine. How will this be handled? Who is to blame....or is this the basic standards one can expect from The Hilton in Cape Town?
Its very central
The level of service during a dinner reservation was pathetic so I shudder to think how it would be to spend a few nights there.

Extremely good service from the time we arrived from Reception staff to waiters at breakfast. I would definitely recommend Hilton Cape Town City to anybody that plans to visit Cape Town
We stayed in Room 603, the only negative thing I picked up about Hilton Cape Town City was our toilet unfortunately did not smell fresh, you know especially after you get back from a days outing and the room had just been cleaned. This however did not stop us from have a great weekend getaway Thank you
